Lost in a sea of green but not really lost at all. Home is where the green things grow. Home is where mother earth is plentiful, providing for those who respect her, home is in the leafy green canopy. These jungle sunset hikes in Hawaii were some of my favorites. The rainy side of these islands has so much life and as the sun sets it seems that even more life comes out of the trees. A myriad of chirping birds and curious insects unite to form a chorus of excitement as the light disappear. Let's work together to value these centers of life, to enjoy them responsibly, to give them space to flourish, and to use their bountiful fruits sustainably. What are you doing to save our planet?
