Razvan N Rapaport is a mixed media artist; he has been a craft artist for over 20 years. He started in 1991 as a wood artisan and was a partner in WOODENZOO, the stand up puzzle, making sculptural puzzles until 2005. He is mainly self-taught. Trained in architecture, Razvan draws his influences largely from urban patterns, building geometry and textures. His new passion is photography. He walks the city to discover unusual angles and interesting architecture. He, then, manipulates the photographs into abstract kaleidoscope images to achieve new perspectives and surprising compositions. Limited editions are created from each shot.
