Description

This is a shot of me spinning burning steel wool standing at the end of the Ponto Jetty in my hometown of Carlsbad, CA. I put steel wool inside a kitchen whisk, attached it to a dog leash, then lit it on fire, and started spinning it.

NOTE: If you try steel wool photography, be sure to consider safety first; molten steel can burn you really badly and can catch other flammable objects on fire. Always wear goggles, a hooded long sleeve sweatshirt, and gloves. You should also bring a fire extinguisher just in case things get out of control!
