Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
Seriously. That shit pisses me off. For example, this time last year, when I was fat(ter) and lazy(...er?) I would often complain how hungry I was. But said 'advisor' would always tell me I wasn't really hungry, that it was my imagination, that if I just drank water, it would be fine.
And so I listened. And I suffered. And I sacrificed. And now, I'm 15kg lighter and much closer to my goals than I've ever been before.
But now said advisor wants to lose weight, and 'build a better body'. But not if they have to give anything up. Not if they have to suffer to get it. "I don't want to be hungry" they tell me. And when I point out the same advice they gave me? "No, that doesn't work for me. I can't eat less. I'm too hungry. I don't want to make sacrifices that will make me unhappy." Da fuq? Fine. Keep doing what you're doing, and keep getting what you're getting.
