This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

This is a watercolor painting of another flower from the Point Defiance Dahlia and Rose Garden in Tacoma, Washington. I think it is a dahlia but I am not sure as there are many other types of flowers there as well. The original is 13.5"x10" in size and is painted with Rublev, Daniel Smith, and Winsor & Newton watercolor paints on Arches 140# cold-pressed paper.

@Chip - Thank you very much! Experimenting with the yellow really helped the dimensionality and once the shadow shading was glazed over the top, it really began to pop!
