Thank you everyone for the kind comments. I love biology--especially human anatomy and physiology, (parasitology is #2)! I bought my first medical model skeleton back in 2012. And this is why: In addition to loving human anatomy and physiology, I like poetry. My father would always recite from memory a poem entitled "The Cremation of Sam McGee" by Robert Service, when we went camping or visited the beach. I always hung on every line as my dad told the tale, and he did it very well, as each word carried a certain mysterious weight that held my curiosity like crazy. I wanted to combine science with a place that I love very much, and that place is Topsail Island. I wanted to further personify Sam by having him sit in a chair or do other things--as it seems humorous, but also carries an inevitable message. There are also other messages and stories to be told with each image of him, and there certainly will be more. In December of 2015, I was on a long visit to Topsail, and I didn't have room in the car for Sam. To remedy this, I purchased another one and had it delivered to our beach house. Now there are two "Sams"! When my husband and I have the "guys" out on the beach, it always draws a crowd--needless to say, the cell phones come out and people really get a kick out of it. On our next beach trip, I'm going to plop Sam in a chair and have another empty chair next to him, so people can have their picture taken with him. He sure is a lot of fun!

Very cool! Your theories, by implication, both as to what heaven would be--I'd have to agree-- and how humans will manifest are rather interesting.

Betsy Knapp replied:

Thank you, Rusty.
