I've got dandelions popping up in my yard now. I've never noticed the intricacy to these weeds - the petals and those curly-q things...whatever they're actually called? Anyhow, dandelions always remind me of my mom. Even though these are weeds and are usually killed with weed killer sprays, I remember as a child picking bouquets of these for my mom. Even though these were weeds, she'd still lovingly take them and put them in a vase...and display them by the kitchen window.
