The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

I was surprised by the positive reactions to my monochrome pinhole camera photograph yesterday, so I wanted to post a colour version of those same bluebells today for two reasons.

Firstly because a viewer's response to any image is always subjective, and therefore just because I favoured the black and white edition doesn't mean it was the only valid interpretation.

Secondly because neither of these two photographs would be here on Instagram were it not for the encouragement of my good friend Conor McBrierty. His enthusiasm for pinhole photography, combined with some clear and practical advice derived from his own experiences with the medium, have resurrected my long-dormant interest in this, the most Zen of photographic processes.
