I absolutely love this photo of Hazel. My first visit to the Smoky Mountains was in April 2017. I have been searching for a black bear photo for years and this one stole my heart. This beautiful girl was photographed the same year. I am very pleased with the canvas print!!

Artist's Description
I like how the reflection on the window glass gives a double exposure look. The photo was taken on Catalina Island at the mysterious Banning House Lodge, a 1911 home built at Two Harbors (formerly known as the Isthmus), by Joseph Banning who co-owned the island with his two brothers at the time. For the shoot, I chose a murder mystery theme, which ended up looking a little like Downton Abbey. Though no murders occurred at the house, I...
About Sad Hill - Bizarre Los Angeles Archive
My name is Craig Owens, a photographer/blogger for the popular Facebook Page "Bizarre Los Angeles" and the author of the book, "Haunted by History Vol. 1," separating the facts and legends of eight historic, haunted hotels in Southern California. I have always been in love with Old Hollywood. I love it for its glamour, its style, its mythology and its decadence, which always seems to be bubbling just below its surface. I'm a firm believer that its history should not be forgotten even if its architecture and carbon footprints are slowly being replaced.
