As an unemployed science and language arts teacher, I use photography as a stress-reliever. I find myself drawn to the natural beauty and historic places in my home of St. Croix in the United States. Virgin Islands. I also keep a look out for the detritus - smaller lost or abandoned objects beneath my feet - which can prove to be extremely photogenic.
