The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

I let dandelion grow in my flower pots for the rabbit, and I *thought* I was likewise letting clover grow, but boy was I sour when I discovered it was sorrel! (That's a joke because sorrel is full of oxalic acid hence tasting like citrus and being very sour. *never give rabbits oxalic acid*)
At any rate,I thought it was pretty with that rainy sort of light behind it one day and so painted it.
I am from the Midwestern United States and paint the places where native and urban landscapes intersect. I focus on native plants highlighted by manmade structures turned surreal by the passage of time. With a strong background in the classical fine arts I often move towards mixed media, fibers, and collage while always hinting at landscape or figurative subject matter.
