"Cold, wet and miserable we may be, but we believe in a cause; a cause to better the world, and ourselves in the process. To clean up the banks and to clean up our souls." Today was definitely one of the hardest days I've experienced with #WCC. Carrying heavy loads over rough, slippery terrain. Dealing with backaches, sore joints and muscles, scratches from wild roses, and the lovely stench of garbage brought in from the tide dripping down my back. Constant rain and a saturation of every layer. Not easy work. "Not sexy work". But so worth it. I love my job.
