This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

Checking into the Julian Gold Rush Hotel in Julian, California. The hotel, when it opened in the early 20th century, was originally called the Hotel Robinson. Its proprietors were Albert and Margaret Robinson, believed to have been former slaves.
