This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

Originally from Detroit, MI, I am currently a Brooklyn based mixed media artist investigating the conflict humans experience as inevitable aging beings entrapped in assigned gender roles. Fascinated and frustrated by the proposed definitions of "men" and "women" combined with the horror, beauty and inevitable decay of youth in an increasingly violent society, I am on a psychological mission to excavate the surviving spirit that lies beneath the mortal facades created by these conditions. Often rendering individuals in loose portraiture as sexless and crackled doll heads or mannequins, I am motivated by the idea that the human body and its psyche is resilient as it is fragile, akin to the plastic shell of a vintage composition doll...
