Description
Introducing “Not quite Rothko “collection by Serge Averbukh. Mark Rothko born Markus Yakovlevich Rotkovich (September 25, 1903 – February 25, 1970), was an American painter of Russian Jewish descent. Although Rothko himself refused to adhere to any art movement, he is generally identified as an Abstract Expressionist. With Jackson Pollock and Willem de Kooning, he is one of the most famous postwar American artists.
This is sort of a tribute to the famous artist, and at the same time an attempt to draw similar imagery directly from nature, landscapes and urban environments.
Here you will find a selection of fine art prints, framed as well as stretched/wrapped canvas, featuring composition ‘Not quite Rothko - Surf and Sand’
