The beach is an incredible natural attraction. It is always evolving, always changing, never completely still and therefore full of energy. Year round, there are enough activities for the young and old. Long walks, Sand castles, collecting shells, or stones and of course watersports as depicted here. This photograph was taken on a windy January day in the late afternoon. The kite surfers were out in force, but these two caught my eye, one helping the other.

I was born 1973 to Cypriot parents in Athens, Greece but grew up in London, where I spent most of my life before moving to Cyprus. At the time of my move, I had grown tired of living and working in a big city. The feeling of each day passing by, as if it were a blink of an eye, the feeling that I was missing out on the more simple things in life and of course England's notoriously bad weather, were the main factors in me re-locating. Cyprus despite having been a British colony and still home to British Sovereign bases today, is the exact opposite of the UK in so many ways.
