I absolutely love this photo of Hazel. My first visit to the Smoky Mountains was in April 2017. I have been searching for a black bear photo for years and this one stole my heart. This beautiful girl was photographed the same year. I am very pleased with the canvas print!!

Artist's Description

What made these shots difficult was the time I gave myself to capture them.
I spent all of 3 and a half minutes on about 10 of them.
Also, the position of the sun made the lcd display nearly invisible.

I just wanted what color and shape I could see to be pleasing to MY eye. MY EXPRESSION: Without giving up my process, I can say that, this allowed me to explore my camera and became fascinated...
