This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

Ten Pound Island, located in the midst of the Gloucester, MA harbor was once the home of some fish hatcheries and a hanger for a pontoon plane that landed on Gloucester Harbor. The wall and beach were once the anchor for some wharves on the island.
Painted digitally with Art Set for I-Pad in Aug. 2015 by Melissa Abbott a Gloucester native and artist who studied painting Monserrat College of Art.
