Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Today is Day 7 and it is #ootd or Outfit of the day. That's my lovely Hollister sweatshirt that I once almost lost in Hyderabad airport and was retrieved by some sweet Indigo staff. Silver hoop earrings and Hair tied neat in a pony, with no-name brand glasses. It's a personal policy that I will not buy name brands for eyeglasses, coz I know the markups
This is how I went to PT today. Happy and cheerful with a brave face in 15 degree weather to take one more step towards freedom. Today it was physical TORTURE. A hitler-drill master was the PT in charge and she hurt me, with no sense of compassion as she took her thumbs and kneaded my 3 incisions as I howled in pain and bit my hand and cried like a baby. She then proceeded to push my knee down to make it straight. I howled again. I am all for harsh love, but when you see a grown woman shed tears, I'd usually give them a breather of a few seconds before I go on to do the right thing. But then, that's just me.
