Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Jack LaForte grew up in Brooklyn, N.Y. and has lived his adult life in New England. After exhibiting three years running in the Art on the Mountain group show in Southern Vermont, Jack had his first solo show in 2008, at the Northampton Center for the Arts in Northampton, MA. In 2012 Jacks photograph Mist Rising on Lake, was juried into the exhibition WATER at the PhotoPlace Gallery in Middlebury, Vermont. Connie Imboden was the juror for the show. Mist Rising on Lake, is featured in Jacks book Water and Mist. That same year, Water and Mist was a Photobook competition winner at the Davis Orton Gallery, in Hudson, New York.
