Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

The gulls are amazing birds, and more so with the way they fish for food. Perhaps not as graceful as the raptors may be, but that doesn't make them any less entertaining to watch. Swoop down and pluck that fish out.
And what do gulls do when some one else steal their bait?? Naturally, shout loud and chase. In between all the chaos of the community, the opportunist grey heron made sure it did get the fish.
Survival of the fittest - Darwin said that long back. The gulls are excellent, but the heron with the big wingspan generated enough power to run away with the fish.
