This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

(akron, "highest point, extremity") and (polis, "city"). although there are many other acropoleis in greece, the significance of the acropolis of athens is such that it is commonly known as "the acropolis" without qualification.
