Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

This was taken from #Dyrhólaeyjarviti, a lighthouse on the Peninsula called #Dyrhólaey near #Vik and the famous beaches of #Reynisfjara with black volcanic sand. Lots of hard words to pronounce but an absolutely beautiful place. Behind it you can see the mountains surrounding one of Europes largest glaciers. Puffins fly about and nest in the cliffs. Sheep graze on the hills. Go check it out and tag me in your photos 😀
