Sunrise on Lake Diablo was a special experience. Ice and snow had closed the road just a few miles up so I didn't get to explore further up in the cascades like I wanted. But it also kept away the crowds especially so early in the morning. The mist rising off the lake was beautiful and a few fall colors lingered around its shores. Do you have a favorite sunrise spot?
