Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
The Saint Boniface Cathedral is a major tourist siite in Winnipeg and is one of the most popular spots for photographers. On July 22, 1968, the 1906 cathedral was damaged in a fire, destroying many features including the rose window which occupied the stone ring. Only the facade, sacristy, and the walls of the old church were saved and restored. In 1972, a new cathedral, designed by tienne Gaboury and Denis Lussier, was built behind the 1906 faade.
I have a passion for the beauty that nature provides. Most of my photos have been taken on my iPhone 5 or with my Canon Powershot A720 IS. I take pictures from different vantage points and utilize rapid shoot functionality as nature and the atmosphere is always evolving. I'm privileged to live in Vancouver BC and never take my surroundings for granted. Whether I'm out for a walk or on my way to work I have my camera handy to capture the view I'm enjoying.
