This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

My sister and brother-in-law live in an area in Arizona where barrel cacti grow rampantly. This one is wet, which is why the red color is so vivid and saturated. Water seems to do that when it comes across living things. A good dose of water freshens, cleans, replenishes, and enlivens even the most unforgiving of natural forms.
