I was given this Bible as a Christmas present in 1999. I have carried it on countless church trips, it was lost in Memphis but recovered by Adrian Howard and Holly had it recovered for me a few years ago.
What you cannot tell, is that the entire book of Deuteronomy and sections of Joshua have been omitted. Where those passages should be are additional chapters of 1 Samuel and 1 Kings.
It was suggested I return it for a perfect copy but I wouldn't have dreamt of it. At the time I was a new Christian, starting out a new life, although I didn't have everything in order, I was willing to follow. It was and still is perfect.
I pray I can always work towards completion, but knowing that I don't have it all together. And I also want to afford my brothers and sisters the same courtesy.
