Black, white, and many shades between - sunset has rarely looked as beautiful to me. It's not the colors that move me, though pretty they are, but the power of the moment when Earth is plunged into darkness. It is a beautiful depiction of the end, death which itself recalls to me the beauty of life.

I'm a husband, father, and pharmacist who discovered later in life has a passion for photography. It started as my parental duty to capture those special moments of my children's lives growing up. I soon began to open my eyes to the beauty in the world around me. I am by nature a studious, mathematical sort and never considered myself artistically talented.
