This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

A "Berkelzomp" is a traditional Dutch flat freight boat, carrying goods on the small Berkel river. The Berkel runs from Germany to the Eastern part of Holland. The word "zomp" is probably derived from the word "swamp".
