Rafting the Kern River and getting a hole in your favorite pair of rafting shoes is no fun, so we stopped by our favorite store on the Kern, the Riverkern General Store and picked up a pair of water socks on the way back to our campground.
Not happy with the way his new water socks felt on his feet, my son insisted upon wearing socks with his water socks in a new style.
He said we should all wear them that way because they felt so much better.
