Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Usually my ride on the prison bus (aka employee shuttle) is in eventful. The main thoroughfare from the KCI employee lot to the terminals is a straight long shot, usually where the bus zips along way above the speed limit. This afternoon we came to a screeching halt. This was due to these VFW Riders making their way to the interstate. Kinda cool to see this parade of veterans on their motorcycles ride by with their flags proudly displayed on their bikes. God bless them all!
