Description
In the 1890's, Joel Clark's house in Westport, Ontario, Canada was converted to a hospital. Dr. G. H. Berry and Dr. A. B. Singleton, both of whom came to Westport in 1896, were in charge of "Mount-View Hospital". Alice and Rebecca Lynn both nursed there. The hospital and Pest House across the pond saw much service during the smallpox epidemic that ended in 1902.
