SHIRT IS GREAT, BUT LOTS OF CONFUSION WITH FINE ART AMERICA CUSTOMER SERVICE... TOOK OVER A MONTH OF EMAILS TO FIND OUT THE T SHIRT COLOR WAS NOT AVAILABLE, HAD TO REORDER. NO EXPEDITED SHIPPING OR OTHER DISCOUNT OFFERED FOR THEIR SCREW UP. GOT THE SHIRT A COUPLE DAYS BEFORE OUR EVENT, THANKFULLY. BUT DIDNT HAVE IT TO GIVE TO AT CHRISTMAS AS PLANNED.IMAGE ITSELF IS A CLASSIC. SHIRT IS NOT TOP QUALITY, CERTAINLY NOT WORTH WHAT THEY ARE CHARGING.

Went to a Powwow, painted the figures on the bottom. Then I cut out the shapes of the inside of a watch, using an article from a Japanese newspaper about the creator of nintendo dying. After creating the watch I painted a map of the Chicago Watershed atop it, later adding the dancing figures from the Powwow. Lastly I thought the piece needed a lace blanket and grass.
I am from the Midwestern United States and paint the places where native and urban landscapes intersect. I focus on native plants highlighted by manmade structures turned surreal by the passage of time. With a strong background in the classical fine arts I often move towards mixed media, fibers, and collage while always hinting at landscape or figurative subject matter.
