Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

My dearly departed friend, surrogate grandfather and Broadway legend Gene Feist (founder of the Roundabout Theatre Company), passed away on March 17th 2014. I used to speak with him almost every day and miss him terribly. In his honor, and to keep him with me, I made a sculpture of him. This is my #FeistyGene series in NYC.
Gene had a quite a sweet tooth and loved this bakery, which was right around the corner from where he lived in Chelsea.
