On a cold winter morning, I got up early to capture an image I have wanted for a long time. There's this beach in Coronado at the base of the bridge at Tidelands Park. All of these boats just laying on the beach waiting for someone to come along and take them to sea. I set up my camera and waited for a single moment before the sun came up. The sky was perfect, lights on the bridge glowing, and the dinghies just waiting. I used a small flashlight to brighten up the foreground and create am image that really gives you the feeling of being there with me at this single moment.
