My love of pets and wildlife started from an early age and learning to respect and care for wildlife came natural to me. My late grandmother used to try and take me to a different park each weekend as a small child even though we didn't have much money so that I could learn to spot certain animals; whether it be squirrels, frogs, birds etc. She taught me about the circle of life, where my food came from and she enriched my life with this knowledge.
