Larry Braun is a landscape and streetscape photographer based in Benton, Missouri. His work focuses on the outdoors in small towns, state parks, and historic districts of Missouri, Illinois, Arkansas and Kentucky.

Photography has been a lifelong interest of his, After college Larry took time off to raise a family and pursue a career in chemistry, then returned to photography after retirement in 2013.

Larry uses his own digital workflow, sometimes adding a texture to his images to create a unique, artistic interpretation of his subject. Recently Larrys focus has been working with the lighting of the photos. Taking photos during the blue hour, and night shots of small towns.

Larrys most notable photo to date is one of the Mississippi River that was selected to be used on a USPS forever stamp in the 'Mighty Mississippi' 2022 stamp portfolio.

His art has been featured in multiple publications, including Rural Missouri, the Southeast Missourian, Missouri Life, and The Best Years. His photographs have been used on book covers, phonebook covers, and online magazines. His art has been exhibited in various galleries and museums, including the Margaret Harwell Art Museum in Poplar Bluff, the Crisp Museum, the Southeast Missouri Art Council, and the Sikeston Depot Museum.
