Elizabeth is a multi-media artist and art has always been a passion of hers from the time she was very young. She is inspired by color, texture, pattern, and the unexpected, but most of all by all things that hold 'potential.'

One of the many things that shaped Elizabeth's thinking was the movie, 'Dead Poets Society' where Robin Williams encourages his students to stand on their desks and look at life from a different perspective. This scene gave Elizabeth an important piece of information about the world around her and that not all perspectives come from behind one's own eyes.

Elizabeth also strives to constantly look for new angles to tell the most common of stories, whether it's through painting, photography, or an abandoned piece of furniture. Her goal is to see the world with a fresh angle and to share that with her audiences in an effort to offer an alternative from the ordinary and expected.

Elizabeth holds a BFA in Ceramic Sculpture from the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida and a M. Ed. with a Specialization in Interdisciplinary Arts from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Elizabeth has taught art to children and adults across the globe from Florida to New York, Paris, and Cairo and as far away as the Mediterranean island of Malta.

She worked in the computer software industry for a number of years training Mental Health Care professionals to use a computer software program. Through life's many twists and turns, she decided to get back to her creative roots and has started a business painting murals, faux finishing, and re-purposing furniture using graphic images, hand-painted designs, as well as a number of other techniques.

Elizabeth Hoskinson joined Mobile Prints on February 15th, 2010.
