I'm Adam Graser, a native of east Texas, has several passions- photography being front line in his life.
In my photography, I make images of subjects that I would like to study, and admire, for more than just fleeting moments. These images are of things, and places, that get my attention by strong composition, or interesting light.
Working primarily in black and white, I strive for contrast and depth. Images of subjects are taken in as many angles as possible, as I explore the possibilities of a presentation that is most flattering to the subject.
Digital cameras allow me the ability to shoot many images in my experimenting in new techniques for the growth of my abilities. Film makes me more deliberate, and methodical in my approach to the subject. Film forces me to study the subject in more detail before taking the shot.
I work to capture, and convey, the mood of my subject, by way of light. Light, and the effects of light, fascinate me.'
