Description

Gays Mills County Fair, pork championship held in the swine barn. A standing room only event.
20 years ago a fire took all but one of my body of work on county fairs,This year I visited a few local fairs with the intention of producing new paintings. I believe one arts one's world. My world is now older and very different than it was when I painted the lost show. I've learned to stay out of my own way which enables what's in my head to come out my hands uninfected. This is the first of the new county fair paintings. I like it.
