I took this shot while walking to a student's apartment. I always love turning the corner from Canal Street to Mercer; it's amazing to me how quickly things shift from crazy-loud-city-traffic-clusterbleep to cool, calm and quiet (as quiet as Lower Manhattan gets, anyway!).
