Description
This painting represents breakthrough. My church had told me I could paint some paintings that would hang on the walls. After this I had a series of visions. I saw a profile face of a lion with rainbow colors flowing through His mane. The rainbow of colors represent the promises of God over people's lives, that He roars over impossible circumstances. He will come suddenly to bring justice to His people. Also it represents the lion/lioness in us. For me, it was an intercessory painting, that the Lion of Judah would come in and bring victory to and peace between Jew and Gentile. Later as I painted, I added the Rose and Vine, which to me represented the Jews and Gentiles becoming one. I wrote this poem to go with the painting.
The Lion, The Rose, and the Vine
oh, my beautiful lost Bride
for which I died
I will not hold back, I will not relent,
now I rush in, now I will roar
and you will come back to life
No longer will you be at enmity with yourself and I,
but Heaven on earth you shall be called,
full of Promised Land fruit.
Oh, my Rose, life laid down,
the earth is held in hushed awe
as sweetness you have poured forth as you are crushed
I have died with you every day, felt your every wound, tasted all your pain
yet you will again arise, justice is prevailing over the blood-stained ground
you will be All-victorious and Love will win
as through every Promise my warriors will unite, will invade
'til the Rose and the Vine become One in Yeshua again.
