Rona, saw this via the admin tribute thread - just love the play of light between the real and reflected skates - the spray of white ice is a bonus! :)

This is a fantastic capture, it couldn't have been easy but it is so very dramatic and awesome. Thank you for supporting, encouraging and being a wonderful asset to the artists on FAA. I am a very simplistic artist but I have a great love of the wonderful artist on FAA and their amazing talents. I just wanted to say how much each of you administrators are appreciated by the rest of us, and I know from the other artists how much they appreciate all of the wonderful Administrators. Many thanks of appreciations. Blessings... L/F/P

I did not want to like this image. I am an old cocky player and hated taking the ice after figure skaters chopped up the ice surface. Even the Zamboni couldn't completely cover the damage in a single pass. But Rona, and in spite of my bias, I love this image. Even the ice chips from the toe pick have a sense of purpose. You have, in this single double exposure, erased my prior bias. BRAVO!
