Painting - Woodblock Print

Description

Waiting for brakes to be installed at Mark's, which is not in this picture,
I sat on the porch of Schurman's Cheese Outlet.
I had a few hours to kill,
so I drew what was before me.
Some weeks later I cut the image into a block,
and printed it.
This is print #2.
Each whiteline print is unique.
The cut lines will print the same, unless I alter them,
but the colors will never, ever be identical from print to print.
I do not expect to make more than two or three prints of each block,
unless I am encouraged by financial applause.

This is a wood print. A White Line Woodprint. It is not a painting, but a very time consuming process of making a color wood block print with water colors so it has qualities of Japanese woodblock printmaking, but with only one block.
