This may seem contradictory, but I purchased this framed image to use as a reminder to myself to NOT spend my money. I imagined that this duck, who was clearly based on the original Scrooge McDuck, would become a continuous visual reminder to be a little bit more of a Scrooge myself. It hasn't quite worked just yet, but I am hopeful that the idea will sink into my subconscious mind the longer that I live with the image! Art IS used to create magic, isn't it? I also chose this image because the work by this artist, Tran Long, has an urban feel to it -- specifically reminding me of the graffiti I saw written all over subway cars and on some of the buildings when I lived in New York City. Please take a look at his other work on the Fine Art America website.

I’ve loved this piece for years! I missed out on the original, but have a print now. It turned out great. I got the silver/black frame and the white mat with black core. It looks perfect with the print! I’m very happy with it.

What can I say? I have loved Liberace since I was a young, elementary school aged, little girl. This portrait of him depicts him when he was about 50 years old, and before his face became almost unrecognizable from excessive plastic surgery. The artist did a fine job creating this portrait of him. It captures Liberace's warmth and charm and that wonderful smile. It makes me smile every time I look at it, and gives me a lot of comfort to have it in my home. The picture was well framed and arrived at my residence quickly. Thank you so much!

The bride and groom love it. It's where our son proposed to her!

Artist's Description

1910 Rolls Royce - chassis no. 1404. Displayed at the "Terribly British Day", Canberra in 2013. Certainly a blast from the past but this actual car was delivered new to Lord Montagu of Beaulieu and inspired Charles Sykes to create his iconic sculpture (and Rolls Royce) mascot, the "Spirit of Ecstasy". And yes, it still runs! #rolls #royce #terriblybritishday #historicar #canberra #british #2013
