TAPAN KAR (BORN1954 IN INDIA)
Human-life has been a major presence in my works from the beginning of my painting career. This love for objects has resulted in my using them as delicate as powerful representations of my ideas.
Generally, depiction of women’s daily life in my surroundings is the theme of my paintings. I think all the people is a part of nature. All the people is beautiful when they lives in the nature. But the conflicts and understandings between civilisation, desire, demand, profession and domestic life of a woman is also takes part in my paintings.
