Description
The Muny, also called Municipal Theater Association of St. Louis, located in Forest Park, St. Louis,MO bills itself as the largest and oldest outdoor municipal theater in the USA. In 1914 Luther Smith began staging plays on the present site of the Muny. I used my infrared camera to capture the bandstand located just outside of The Muny. Designed by Helfensteller, Hirsch and Watson in 1925, this Beaux Arts pavilion, accessible only by boat, serves rarely for concerts but constantly as a charming ornament.
