"And the wolf will dwell with the lamb." Isaiah 11:6
"Promise of Peace" is based on the passage in Isaiah 11:6 describing the
Millennial reign of the Messiah. Many artists have made it popular to depict the lion and the lamb lying down together, but the actual Scripture refers to the wolf dwelling in peace with the lamb. That is how I chose to portray it. This chalk pastel illustration was used as a book cover for my husband, Maurice's book entitled, And They Dreamt Of A Kingdom.
