Pieces of land are scattered, like small droplets of islands on huge stretch of backwaters. People live on these small islands and use small boats for commuting from one island to the other. Small children, women of the house and working men all have their own personal little boat for their day to day chores. This man of the backwaters is ferrying coconuts to take them sell in the village marketplace. An award winning photograph.
