Awesome Jim... Congratulations on your recent sale!

Mr. Clements, this was the first of your paintings I've ever seen, and it grabbed my senses so I was there, about to reach out and pat the warm, solid, shoulder of the lead horse, my feet in the cool water, smelling the dry vegetation. The highlights under his jaw; when I had a horse during high school (in Kansas), I must have seen a similar perspective hundreds of times, not consciously taking note, but this is one of the details of light and color that makes this so compelling. I'm sorry I can't own the original, but I will be buying a print of it, as soon as I can decide which type I want.... Thank you for sharing your amazing vision and finely honed skills.
